APPROVAL OF THE TITLE I, PART A, EDUCATION OF DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN AND YOUTH GRANT APPLICATION TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
Description
ENTITLEMENT: Grant funds of $7,790,422 will provide supplemental resources to Alta Vista, Atwater, Brentwood, Cranberry, Emma E. Booker, Fruitville, Garden, Glenallen, Gocio, Lamarque, Tuttle, and Wilkinson Elementary Schools, Booker Middle School, Triad and Suncoast School for Innovative Studies for the purpose of assisting them in meeting the academic needs of their students in math, reading, writing and science.
Recommendation
That the Title I, Part A, Education of Disadvantaged Children and Youth grant application be approved.
