APPROVAL OF THE EDUCATION FOR HOMELESS CHILDREN AND YOUTH GRANT APPLICATION TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE SARASOTA COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT
Description
COMPETITIVE: Grant funds will continue the YMCA contracted services to provide case managers to serve as "Homeless Liaison" between the School Board, community agencies/shelters and targeted homeless children and their families.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the Education for Homeless Children and Youth grant application.
