November 16, 2010 Board Meeting Agenda Item #17 Title APPROVAL OF EXPULSION CASE NO. 11-130 Description On October 14, 2010, the student listed in Expulsion Case No. 11-130, violated School Board Policy 5.34(1)(d), Computer Violation/Vandalism.  It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the student be expelled from the Sarasota County Schools until January 12, 2012. Recommendation That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07(1)(a)(b), Florida Statutes and School Board Policy 5.34, and the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case 11-130, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools, be approved effective immediately for the remainder of the 2010-2011 academic year, the 2011 summer session, until January 18 of the 2011-2012 academic year.
